The TREND is your friend.. The biggest lie ever!

  1. LOL !

The question was: do trends exist?
I gave the answer. Cannot show it with charts that do not exist already, so past was the only solution.
All the rest you post has nothing to do with the question, and is the ventilation of your frustration as you stated yourself that you know nothing about trading.
Your comment here was fairly useless too.

Clearly and undeniably trends do exist. Is it possible, for a retail trader, to be consistent in trend participation is the question.

  3. You're missing the point. You said the poster was stupid for not seeing the trends that happened in the ES yesterday. When most people look at that chart, they would call it a wide trading range. Of course there is a trend when going from the low to high and back to the low again. But this you only know in hindsight. If you're going to just use hindsight charts without any mention of what's happening in real time, might as well get in line with all the other fabulous hindsight chartists that ET has.

The thing about you is that what you say is all very good, but none of it shows any real trading ability. I can mark up trends on every single chart after the fact as well, but what does this prove? You don't have to make real time calls if you don't want to, but I think its important for readers to understand that you aren't really saying anything if all you ever do is talk about what happened. Imagine how smart I sound saying how the ES today trended very strongly from the open, hit its overnight high, and then trended some more on the way down. I'm a fucking genius!

The comment of mine you dug up stands on its own. I've never seen what a trader floor at the exchange looks like, nor do I have any idea what GS does or any other big firm. This is what I call professional trading. Even if you are the hottest trader out there, I still wouldn't call you a professional trader because you're retail trading your own account. To me a professional works for someone else, not for himself, but I'm sure everyone has their own definition.

If you want to know what impresses me, its this:

  4. I am on ET since 2004 and posted in past in real time. I even started the shortest thread on ET where I wanted to post in realtime for everybody. But because there are so many bashers on ET I cancelled that thread after a few bashers already started to bash me BEFORE the first signal was posted.
You have no idea at all who I am as you are here only 1-2 months. I posted in total a few thousand postings (I had another alias before this one). If you would read them all maybe you could have an objective opinion about me.

I will never post any signals anymore. Because it is useless. Bashers will always post negative comments so they killed a good part of ET.

    Just for illustration:

I posted signals in PM to people that threated me correct, but did not want to give free money to others. So these signals were directed to specific people. And they know what I can or cannot.

IMO the very basic way of participating in intraday swings/trends is to watch MACD on 1 minute chart when participation is at it's highest. The higher the time frame signals are taken from the wider the stop which equates to size reduction. But as we know there is a lot more noise on short time frames.

  6. Couldn't agree more...This same asshat was lecturing schizo on his scalps all of January while implying that he just rode the 30-40 pt waves every single day...Just more of the nonsense that has become this site.

  7. Too many variables in the trend discussion...Time frame needs to be stated at the start...The chart posted above basically contains a 6 pt range in the ES with swing labels attached upon completion of swing reversals; but is that a trend? The market rallied over 300 pts from the Feb low to the April highs, most certainly a trend, but then again on some microstructure tf each day there was probably a "trend" in the other direction...Definitely a conversation that winds up in the rabbit hole.

  8. Schizo was knocked out completely. Not from good results but from bad results. What happened with him was predictable. He only needed an excuse so that he would not be ridiculized. He disappeared silently, the magical supertrader.

And like a real basher you post things that were never said. Family from Marketsurfer?

  9. If you have no clue about daytrading you should not discuss it. In the chart were 2 +10 points waves, not 6 points. And another 2 that were also bigger than 6 points. It is essential to know how to count if you want to trade.
Will not spent more time on your nonsense.
It should be obvious now why PM is were the valuable things happen.

  10. Ah yes, let's post hindsight charts and imply we took the whole range...What are you trying to sell?
