  1. are you kidding?

does anyone pay attention to the money supply and long term cycles, or give heed to the basic concept that massive liquidity injections combined with massive concept infatuation makes for a rare mania catalyst that comes about MAYBE once every twenty years, if not less?

  4. Ok Lundy, you were wrong last week, lets see.

THe market needs some people to pick bottoms so the rest can take his money!

The trend is your friend, until it ends.
But if you pick the end then you are a fucking idiot.

I don't understand you darkhorse. Is this psychological gobbledegook or are you really saying something? I am not being facetious I simply don't get it. If so, well, could you please tell me in a different way--what ya mean? Especially, what does "rare mania catalyst, massive concept infatuation," mean?

Okay SilverBullet. Let's suppose July 4th comes and goes without incident. Suppose there are no terror attacks. Let's even suppose that the market gives us a huge rally up in the following week of July 8th through the 12th. Then, can we suppose you won't be showing your face around here?

    Lavish,

For a detailed explanation of "rare mania catalyst" I suggest Extra Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds or Devil Takes the Hindmost

For an explanation of "massive concept infatuation" I suggest the yahoo message boards from 99-early2000 for CMGI, AMZN, RAZF, PDLI, actually just type in random 4 letter combinations and that will probably do the trick :)

    PEACE and goodtrading,
    Commisso

BTW: He goes over my head also :)

yes, we are in secular bear market http://my.net-link.net/~malexan/STOCK_CYCLES.htm but it doesn't prevent a sharp counter trend rally now and then, I think somebody mention 32 years cycle, some mention 6.5 years cycle, it depend on which year when you start counting I guess.
