    darkhorse,

I entirely agree with your logic ... but yet again that's not the issue ... I ADORE Fibonacci and Gann ... I apply their tools all the time ... I'm a true lover of the art of technical analysis .. but as I said earlier ... I would never :

    1) say I'm 100% sure about any call I make
    2) say that the trend is up when the market is hitting new lows
    3) keep chaging my stop-loss and my bottom call on daily basis
    4) say that making 1000% return is a very easy task
    5) buy call options and say I'm at a huge profit as the market free falls

P.S. Earlier I got pissed-off 'coz you were blaming me for something I quoted from another forum .. something I haven't even said .. but that's OK :)

    Bono,

I'm not making calls. Thats something guru's do. I'm trading.

I post my trade and my logic. If I want to stay in a trade, thats my business. If I change my mind on something, thats my business. I'm simply letting people know what I'm doing.

I'm not trying to please anyone here, I don't have to stop out, I can change my stop, I can change my logic, I can do as I like cause your not payin, and i'm not serving u or your market ideologies.

It's good you have an opposite opinion as to what the market is doing, good for you, good for me. If it weren't so, there wouldn't be a market.

So, let me ask you something, are you just upset that I'm not doing things in the conventional guru way? (ie I changed my call, big no no) or do you still disagree on my new bottom (yesterday).

  5. don't get so upset bono, after all if nobody was buying anything then you wouldn't be able to sell anything short. By the way, do you have any trades you would like to share with the class ?

    dotslash,

I post here on my leisure time ... when I'm analyzing the market, I don't have time to look around me ... when I plan a trade I can't focus on anything else ... when I place my trade I concentrate so I don't make any typing mistakes ... finally having entered the trade and placed my profit and stop orders ... I totally forget about it and come here to LEARN ... if there's anything to learn ...

No, I don't discuss my trades 'coz I don't have time for that ... also 'coz I don't want to .. but I assure you that if I ever do .. I will have a lot of RESPECT for the ones who would be reading ...

Here's a quote from an article I once read ... and mostly agreed with ... not all the points of course ... but most ...

    --- Start of Quote ---

Throughout my technical analysis career, I was lucky enough to meet a lot of successful traders. My observations on their common characteristics deserve some attention. First of all, I realized that most of them draw their charts by hand and pretty simple. Yeah, some call that old-fashion, but so what ? I'd rather be called old-fashioned and a successful trader, rather than modern and loser ! Second, they have very strict discipline. They do indeed plan their trade, and trade their plan. Their money management skills are high. Third, and to many people's surprise, almost all are very low profile. They don't talk much, they don't appear in newspapers, magazines or TV, at least until they make a lot of money, and then they might turn otherwise for a change. Fourth, they are very secretive with regards to their trading systems. They would extensively discuss any tool, yet they never reveal their preferred or applied combination or system. Once again, at least until they make a lot of money out of it, then one day, they might just decide to write a book about it. Fifth, they have years of experience in the field mostly started by a set of trading failures before the successful model develops. Finally, they have basic solid knowledge of every financial language available, or at least they try to. Whether that be technical, fundamental or any other modern language which would simply reduce their risk and increase their return. I guess they follow the principle which says "Knowledge is power" combined with the one which says "Time is money". So they do their own work, they let the pros do the work they can't professionally handle, and they know how to read and react based on all the info.

Hey Bono....thanks for the compliment in the "What kind of training..." thread. Seems like you have a good handle on the subject yourself.

Good trading, good luck, and good posting....keep Lundy on his toes. He is the guy that isn't sure the moon is closer to the earth than the sun is.

I was confused by this.....not entirely......just in parts......but understood it nonetheless.

You have plenty of time to spare to keep ripping Lundy apart so why not take a break and lead by example. Show us how you trade. We all know your views on how things souldn't been done so now show us how it should be done.

I hope it doesn't turn out that you are just a rock thrower who doesn't dare to take the stage.
    Cheers
