  1. They claim they have 2,000 members.

At $1999 a pop it's a good reason to hype their room anyway they can.

For the record I always post under my own name

I run the room under my own name, I do not use a nickname or pretend to be anyone other than I am.

Our chat room is open to all, and free... this allows our guests to make their own decisions,, without any obligation

My phone number is on our website, and many of our traders call me regularly to discuss their trading, get advice or help. (another free service)

I think that we are being as upfront as we can be about what we do. We do not hide the fact that we offer educational services.

For the record Gator is an 18 year veteran floor trader, so you can take him as seriously as you want, but few traders I have met have his level of experience.

If you do not like what we have to offer, then don't come to our room. It's that simple.

Again if it's not for you then why even bother posting on a message board.

Those who do trade with us are very satisfied

    Greg

  4. not only are you an complete idiot wareco but a total liar .i attended this room all day . you fell through the door late in the day@ 3:30 est spent 10 minutes in the room and stated that during the "infomercial" that a double top trading opportunity had been missed . this was after greg had completed a 7 pt trade moments before . how come you neglected that "minor detail ????the room performance was excellent throughout the day . but dont bother paying attn to what i say . btw you also failed to mention greg's response ....his methodology doesnt look for double tops as trade setups. furthermore, your so called double top reversed after 1.75 pts pts and and would have promptly stopped you out at break even on your remaining contracts . a little advice ....if you want to criticize gregs room ..spend more than 10 minutes there first and choose a day when the guy is having a rough time of it ...not when he's having a very good day . fool!

Please, try to argue, but be polite ! That is a general statement.

Why do members on ET have so much negative energy around them!!!

Well, here is my part of the story:

I have been struggling trying to transit into the day trading environment. Certainly I have nearly blown up my trading account within a timeframe of months maybe less. After I realized that it wasn’t going to work for me trying to run my own show, I decided to search for some trading education.

For months, I have been trialing several rooms services, some good, some bad (trialed almost 10 already). (Please see my initial post on this forum: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98990&perpage=6&pagenumber=1 - notice my first two sentences, THIS IS THE EXAMPLE OF IT).
I almost took a course with another Educational provider but decided to hold off for some personal reason – I search on. Well, after hearing about TheTradingZone (TTZ) from another forum which was also hostile similar to this thread, I decided to check them out. (They’re free so what the hell I have to lose anyway!!).

After 3 days in the room, I saw no trading actions. Well, it was because Greg and Ric the two traders were on holiday. But as soon as Ric came back (Friday a fortnight ago- 10 AUG 07), and started showing us his trade by calling them live in the room – I was impressed. Net 93 points for the day all started off by scalping! You can believe it or not I simply don’t care – I SAW IT!! Yes, I signed up the next day…. (That was his new record then. And now for your record, he broke that the week after with a net 150 points day – Yes last week!)

OK. Here is what I’ve found about the course material. They’ve made it clear that its nothing fancy or hi-tech stuff. You can learn it from library of books out there, but why waste time going through hundreds of books, do trial and errors and lose more money. They have a set up the works for them and certainly it may or may not work for you! – If in doubt GO check them out for yourself at their room. It’s bLOODy free for monkey-sake! Well, there are three setups which they use, these are real simple to follow. If you can’t follow their setups, then I suggest you just quit trading and get yourself a job (maybe something easy like flipping a burger).

Now here is some more truth: Believe it or not, my trades are now profitable!!! After one week of studying the course? Bloody hell Yeah!

So, please stop the yabby dabby talk without a fact ….. If you have not been to the room and see for yourself, just don’t comment – SIMPLE!

  7. First dumbass, I was in the room in the morning, I heard whomever making call after call, and usually getting stopped out at BE or a loss. He kept saying how treacherous the trading was, but still and yet kept making one call after another. So, yep I left the room.

Secondly, how the fuck do you know what time I entered the room in the afternoon? You are just parroting what one of those jerks incorrectly posted. The truth of the matter is I re-entered the room shortly before Gator started his 30 minute infomercial. I listened in disbelief as he went on and on and on even repeating himself at times.

Meanwhile the market retraced 7 points off the high, and not a single call was made. What kind of a lame system do they use that doesn't generate a call after the market moves 7 freakin' points. I know I scalped at least 3 points off that move.

Clearly you are a newbie, and can't read a chart. You see that high of 1455.75 around 9:35 a.m? Do you see the market breached that high around 3:30 p.m. and fails to hold it. That was the double top, and your signal to go short. Hmmm, you would have thought they would have noticed that since they claim to use MP. Also, there was no 1.75 point retrace. And, even if there was it would not and did not stopped me out.

What I objected to dickhead, was Gator interrupting the trading to do his infomercial speel for 30 minutes. Now granted, I was there gratis, but what about all the paying members? Why in the world should they have to listen to this crap for 30 minutes? They are paying for calls and insight, not a thinly veiled infomercial. Hey, they want to spew that crap after the market closed under the pretext of market wrap up commentary, then fine. The "veterans" can leave, and the mermerized newbies can be coaxed into signing their life away for all I care.

Oh and one more thing. What is with that ridiculous shouting of "There it goes there it goes" whenever a trade started going in the desired direction? Seemed pretty cheesy and sophomoric. Funny thing is of the ones I saw, shortly after the "There is goes there is goes", the trade went limp like an old guy in need of Viagra.

  8. guess you got your hands on some bad acid dude ...contrived fiction !. you must be a legend in your own mind . btw its very easy use the time stamp feature in paltalk to observe what time someone enters and leaves a room . dont expect a further response . there is zero valididity or credibility to what you stated . you are irrelevant

  9. Well, did Gator spend about 30 minutes doing his infomercial or not?

Was this done prior to the market closing?

During the infomercial were any trades called?

Did they completely miss the re-trace?

I rest my case, you shill.

  10. I think that is the point that needs to be restated did he sell while he should have been trading and calling if thats what he does. Lets see if they come back and answer you?
