  1. Lost approx $400.

    Net since inception : $4,600

To Don: Thanks. But, you used to say I was THE smartest person you know. Now, I'm only, "one of the smartest." Did something change?

To Bob: Thanks for the casino recommendations. I'll try to stay away from the guys in turtlenecks.

  2. Yeah, Bob said that even though I wasn't trading there, he would give me a payday loan in return for 1% daily interest!

  9. looks like I will be down about $1,500.

I am discontinuing this journal unitl I return July 4 at which time it will be updated to reflect the further losses I plan while on vacation.

    Note to Don Bright:

Where is your brother when I need someone to buy 10 million shares of something I am losing my ass on? This HRP is under pressure due to the Russell rebalancing and the fact that it made sense to own it.
Since anything that makes sense never works, I will do a Bob Bright and hold the position until it does make sense.
In the meantime, I hope it goes to 7 so I can do another Bob Bright and average down.
I plan an asymptotic averging so that I own 100% of the stock when it finally goes to zero.

Anyway, since a taxi in CR is $12 per hour (and gas is $3 gallon)
I figure saved some money already.
To those who suggested the Hotel Del Rey, it is across from the Horseshoe Casino, which actaully looks like the rel one. This means it is a dive also!

  10. Careful Grigo, the "girls" at the Del Rey are very aggressive.

Also, be sure to pack your rain gear. Suffice it to say this is NOT the tourist season there. This is their "winter" and it just pisses rain like you wouldn't believe.
