    This a big deal.

Who's been targeted by al-queda styled attacks? Australia (via the killing of tourists in Bali), Spain and last July the U.K. The connection? At the time of attack, all were members of the U.S. led coalition in Iraq. However Canada has been the Europa of North America. How many Canadians have smugly bragged that their Islamic population was law abiding and thriving , all because of Canada's dovish stance in the Middle East.

Tonight Canada is stung. Liberals all over the world are rethinking their passion for the time honored oft failure of appeasement. For those who want to believe the lies of Islamo-Facism, those bogus proclamations asserting that the powder keg in Iran was about U.S. support of the Shah, or about Israel, or Lebanon, or Egypt, or Iraq, or about whatever excuse is next, those libs are now reeling in reality. The reality that the enemy is and always will be the institutionalized fervor in which numerous followers of Mohammed are now gunning to kill Westerners. This is the tip of the iceberg. If Canada can be attacked then a John Dean America can be attacked. The day the left realizes this has NEVER been about policy but ALWAYS about religion is the day we make progress in defending our future.

  2. Appeasement will get you nowhere with radical Muslims. No matter how much you give, it can never be enough- you're still a target, like it or not.

In tonight's lesson, we fire up Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine and go back to the fall of the Soviet Union. Did liberals rethink their passion for socialism? Nope. Hoping back in, we go back to when Churchill came to power. Did liberals rethink their passion for the time honored ideal of appeasement when it failed to stop Hitler? Nope.

But I'm sure it's different this time. ;)

And BTW: Since I've been hot, with my Heat in the finals call, I'll go out on a limb and predict that the target was a SkyDome explosion during a Jay's game. Just a hunch......

  5. If anything, they'll rethink it for a nanosecond, and then go back to the World of Denial.

A review of a sample of official Saudi textbooks for Islamic studies used during the current academic year reveals that, despite the Saudi government's statements to the contrary, an ideology of hatred toward Christians and Jews and Muslims who do not follow Wahhabi doctrine remains in this area of the public school system. The texts teach a dualistic vision, dividing the world into true believers of Islam (the "monotheists") and unbelievers (the "polytheists" and "infidels").

This indoctrination begins in a first-grade text and is reinforced and expanded each year, culminating in a 12th-grade text instructing students that their religious obligation includes waging jihad against the infidel to "spread the faith."

Of course these are allies of the WEST. What do they teach in those Islamic countries that are not so favorably disposed...

  8. All I can say is the western world better wake the f up. 9/11 and the European terrorist attacks didn't do it apparently. Having muslims in your country is just plain SUICIDAL. For the vast majority, their allegience will NEVER be to their new home in fact they may just try to blow it up......

That's why establishing a western presence in Iraq is so important. A forward observation post is of upmost importance in our security. Iran and Syria wouldn't be able to breathe, Jordan won't be able to sit on the fence, and Saudi will have to mind their P's and Q's. I don't know why the left doesn't get it...it so much more than about oil.

GWB and this administration will go down in history, after time, as one of the more forward looking and ballsy political machines in a long time.

  10. The only thing it truly proves is that Islam is a murderous, poisonous and violent religion. Those (primarily europeans and canadians) who denied it for the sake of political correctness and believed in appeasement have egg all over their faces today.

My question is though, what country do you think Canada should now invade?
