"For the want of an eighth the kingdom was lost" Sucks to miss PCLN on the quant-buy (25 higher on the gap). ES was never close (4 pts off my long entry) and now up 9. AAPL filled, but not a good trade even in light of the $5/share gain.
That was a quant on reaching a big figure, but it was very hard to buy in light of a >5MM unit miss on the iPhone and fraudulent reporting of sales out of China Mobile.
I personally find aapl very hard to trade around earnings, know what you don't know. I think it grinds slowly higher from here. I will leave the growth debate to the pundints..
