Japan's sex hotels are so full now...they're setting up outdoor tents next to the hotels. :D

    What's a mixed zone ?

How did he get in there if a person is required to have a face mask on ?

Seems to me he's temporarily wearing his face mask to get into the mixed zone and then immediately taking it off...the way the Trump family did in the first few Presidential debates until the organizers of the debates said enough of that shit. :D

Tough pill for him to swallow knowing in the races that he lost...he lost to people that did wear a face mask and were fully vaccinated.

Strangely, he has worn his face mask when walking around inside the Olympic Village. Thus, maybe the issue to him is about his breathing after the competition in which he doesn't want to wear a face mask.

I say the above because I remember seeing Olympic runners in the Track n Field competitions delaying their interviews after their races just so that they can catch their breath and comfortably breathing prior to walking up the stairs to be given a face mask.

If you read the history of this guy -- he has a glorious compilation of anti-vax and anti-mask rhetoric. Every opportunity he had -- he took off his mask. He was warned multiple times by Olympic officials about this -- but they never seemed to escalate to expelling him.

Sadly he was supposed to be one the medal favorites and badly under-performed.

He should have juiced up (get vaccinated) like some of the other Olympic athletes that medal or broke Olympic Records / World Records. The IOC could not say that vaccine is a banned substance. :D

Imagine thinking to yourself "I'm not hiding my face since I'll be getting a medal" only to be known as that "loser MAGGAT that refused to wear a mask in the olympics"

Actually, he did win one Gold medal on the Men's 4x100m medley relay along with the team setting a World Record.
    • Thus, I'm sure a girl from another Olympic team hooked up with him at one of those sex hotels in Japan. Yet, if she asked him to wear his face mask and he said no...she probably checked out of the hotel. :D
Yet, he still underperformed in the other events that he was supposed to medal in...he won no other medals and that must be a big disappointment for him considering his Olympic Trials times had him near the top of the world in his trial times.

Now that the Olympics has concluded...

I thought there will be massive protests by the Japanese people during the Olympics...large enough that the Police would get involved. I was wrong...it didn't happen.

I thought many famous athletes would test positive for Covid in Japan. I was wrong...only one famous athlete tested positive...a U.S. Army soldier and defending World Champ in the pole vault. IOC didn't allow him to compete.

I thought more athletes would sneak out of the Olympic Village and visit the sex hotels. I was wrong...only a few. :D

    On that note...

Now with the Olympic flame doused, the cameras turned off and the last remaining athletes headed home, it is the Japanese public that is left weighing the costs and the benefits of the IOC’s decision to push ahead with the Summer Games during the pandemic.

Analysts say there is little reason to celebrate. They say the Olympics has only worsened Japan’s COVID-19 outbreak and left its taxpayers saddled with a $15bn bill, even as the IOC raked in billions from broadcasting rights...

The Olympics was a nice distraction from what was going on outside in the real world and it was something the athletes, their family/friends needed too. Hopefully, that's mission accomplished.
