I am daytrading .. I just sold 100 shares of SPY and forgot to set the shares to 50. I am currently short at 86.16

 

I just covered my short.

My account is now $5,005.00

This is wild guys. I screwed up but this is what it's all about .. learning.

 

Good for you Aphie. I know you've taken a lot of barbs on this board and I laughed at quite a few of them, but now that you are putting your money where your mouth is, I really wish you well. I think the suggestion to trade 50 or 100 SPYs or qqqs is a very good one. I also see that you are smart enough to have taken that advice. I also see that you intend to do one trade a day for a while and the fact that you can't daytrade the stocks will help you stick to that.
