First Rising Volume is the next event from DU and as daily volume begins to increase, price begins to accelerate it's appreciation. There are other screening criteria to apply and one is left with a handful of instruments to watch for the morning breakout.
You need to trade breakouts that have a higher probability of winning. Look at the patterns and see what leads to successful breakouts. Also, different asset classes have very different personalities of course, as do different stocks, so you have to know what the signs are that a specific breakout will most likely work.
