    Stopped out.

Had to step away for a little while. I see that I was 5 points in the money at one time, only to give it all back and lose another 2. :(

What's even more depressing is that as soon as it stopped me out, it reversed course. Ggrrr!

No, it ain't. Luckily, I've had only one losing day so far. Right now, I'm not aiming so much for the moon as slow and steady growth. Capital preservation is more important than a big windfall at this stage of the game. Have a nice weekend!

Schizo, just wanted to say that this journal is excellent! By showing all trades, by seeing your win rate, by seeing that you take a few hits and keep on trading, you're really showing what it takes to have a trader's mindset. There hasn't been a good journal like this in a long time that has such good transparency and continuity. My hat off to you Sir.

(as an aside, what do commissions run you if you don't mind me asking)

Thanks. I believe two things might be worth mentioning.

    1) My Win/Loss Ratio, as seen above, ain't too great. I have more losers than winners.
    2) However, the Average Gain for each trade is more than double that of the Average Loss.

So, while my losses are numerous, I think keeping them small (at least smaller than the gain) is what's helping.

I pay around $1.60 per side.
