Schizo Heading into the week - I submit below as food for thought Respectfully of course (iow as a colleague) I posted it in the Obvious thread - but wanted to bring it to your thread Trade well - win or lose - and to hell with the results RN
Thanks for the endearing/encouraging words. I love you too, man. While I completely understand you, I am not entirely certain it's me, the trader - and not my strategy - that made money. I personally think it's dangerous to consider oneself as a great trader. It only ends up messing with one's head. Sadly, I see this phenomenon too often on this board. Just look around, so many people directly and indirectly saying how good they are, always comparing themselves to others. Yes, by all means, it is you who must take responsibility for your actions. It takes effort to push forward and press the buy and sell buttons at appropriate prices. It takes discipline to cut your losses short. It takes courage to press forward and reenter the same trade that you've been stopped out. So on and so forth. Be that as it may, could I have made money resting just on my efforts? I see many struggling traders who have invested countless hours of screen time and still made no money. Hence, what differentiates the profitable and the struggling traders cannot be credited to efforts alone. It requires a little bit of both. At this time, I'm just aiming for a modest goal. I would like to consistently make 6 or more points a day.
Not only dangerous - downright deadly to a trader And why I posted it - head down - do your job - always Keep on truckin - you will (I'd bet money on it) Cause they are still looking without - the real answer lies within I know - more guru shit - but give it..., keep your head down..., and keep doin your job There will be a light turn on RN
Hi schizo, No doubt that you are a good trader. I have some questions regarding your strategy. 1. Is it a breakout strategy? 2. Is it a price action based or indicator based? Thanks.
