you ever been to malaysia or UAE? among the cleanest and safest places i have been, next to singapore, which is also 15% Muslim compared to the whining switzerland's 4%. you have any Muslim friends? rhetorical question. you cannot possibly be living in the delusion that everyone in the world wants to come to america because it is the best in so many ways? it's a given that you have no Muslim friends as you lump every single one of them as part of the infinitesimal % that unprovoked, causes problems but how about some immigrant friends or even expatriate friends to get a diffeent perspective? i am not suggesting that america sucks but only that some muslim countries are not shitholes, unless i am confused in your definition of "shithole" as being an overall fu..ed up place to be. a blind person who sees is better than a seeing person who is blind
Sure the UAE is safe, they quickly kill any offenders, such as people who promote atheism or any other religion. As long as you do exactly as told, you are safe pretty much anywhere in the world. Being clean and safe isn't the sole definition of a good place to live. The USSR was safe. Muslim friends are irrelevent, this discussion is about group behavior. Let's just stick to the facts here, muslims immigrate to the west in vast numbers but americans and westerners do not immigrate to muslim countries by anywhere near the same amount. No delusions about that, even many muslims agree that the US is a better place. 14,452 terror attacks since 11 Sept. 2001, by muslims. No other religion can claim such a high proportion.

14,000+ homicides in 2006 alone in this country alone by people that identify themselves as christians. yes, there are some severely draconian laws in place in a lot of Islamic (and other) countries but in Malaysia, they practice religious freedom and they have missionaries in Turkey, Jordan, Syria and as far as i know, UAE so the "kill you for atheism" is more an exception than a rule. yes, saudi arabia is ass backwards. besides, we here in the states have the highest rate of incarceration in the world and still cook people in the electric chair every now and again, some of them later proven innocent so throw your stones only when no one else has stones to throw at you. true, muslims and mexicans immigrate here much more than americans go there but 1. most americans only speak english and if they ever even make it to canada, let alone europe for vacation, they are on the cutting edge of exotic cultural experience (i.e. they are provincially minded chicken shits) and 2. of the many foreigners i have spoken with in their country and the immigrants i know, they are here for the money and almost all immigrants wish they were back in their own country but the money keeps them here. on the thread, in general, it has already been said in earlier posts, minarets engender acts of "jihadist" terror in the same way cathedrals give rise to hate crimes, blowing up abortion clinics or killing abortion providers, and giving justification to the bigoted folks such as yourself for persecuting more of THEM, which will inevitably give rise to more violence on both sides, on and on, ad infinitum until, in cathedralese, armageddon thing is, they are just architectural structures, it is the zealots that misinterpret the primary tenets of what is taught in each religion that cause the problems.

They were not inspired by christianity to rob a liquor store, on the other hand radical Imams preach violence and islamic terror is in the name of religion, not an ounce of crack. no kidding, and the source of those laws? You keep having to point out Malaysia, that's damning in itself. On the other hand almost every western christian nation is an immigration destination for muslims. Turkey is tolerable only because they embraced secularism. ..and yet the muslims still come here.... because our freedom allows them to make money and practice religion, a gesture that only gets the west in trouble. Sweden's generosity to muslims has been rewarded with rape and other crimes, and it is passed off by muslims as a mere 'cultural difference'. The fact is Imams tell muslims that raping infidels is less serious than raping each other. no misinterpretation here, I'll take the anti abortion crowd any day over the sharia crowd, any day...and I'm an atheist. Minarets represent a religion and culture I want no part of.
Interesting. I wonder, what do you think when I mention that where innocents are targeted for death, most often the perps claim to be muslim? Do you think I lie or exaggerate? Perhaps it is the Jews who orchestrate all this carnage? Maybe I do not understand the humiliation these terrorists suffer?
