  1. Starting to look a little better for you, at least today!

I'm pulling for ya Surfy. My system got short again today too, so I wouldn't mind a drop. But like I keep sayin'...I'll take profits fast and reload, otherwise I'll be out in a few days. I do it over and over and over. Works for me. Much easier than trying to nail the big one. This runup has been tough, but I'm starting to get ahead.

    Good luck Surfboy!

  5. One of my favorite analysts, Easan, pointed out the the DJIA was at 9605 on 9.10.2001 and once again on September 10, 2009.....

the market works in strange ways....

  6. TRS

    TRS

I'd be interested if he could give me the closing in 8 years time. Never found a broker that would let me trade retrospectively.
    Have to love analysts.

  8. Time will tell. Sure risk to reward ratio is better on the short side after this run we're having but to call a meltdown....where would your stop be? Above 1050...we could really pop. If you look at charts, we have a pretty thin area up above.

I am also short biased but am playing both sides on a daily basis although more inclined to the short side. Today, longs at open in my opinion.

I'm sure most veteran traders know the markets and economic conditions but could you state your views as to what would trigger a meltdown of epic proportions as this is your tread?

Wishing you the best in your calls.

  9. Markets hanging around the highs - too risky for a short imho - you still in surf?

Btw, if Susan Boyle's new album flops then the whole thing could implode along with her...
