  2. You see, Surfy, the way this market has been for months it seems a lot easier to take lots of those 1% - 2% profits. They do add up. Going for that big 10% win may not make sense if it doesn't come for months and months and months...and you lose 20% chasing it! :p

    Good luck Surfboy!

You know what happens everytime you cheerlead your short pos right? We get a huge rally. Keep quiet and we might see 800 in SP.

  5. Bulls getting slaughtered, that was one **** vicious move!

Now I see why you trade like this, you like the knockout puches. :p

P.S. Naysayers and other market commentarists should feel free to chime in at this point. :)

  6. Is this your version of a left-hand compliment?

All the naysayers should get together and bowdown to marketsurfer now :D ... if we were to assume that you were trading the opposite of surf's calls (as magna suggested) you'd be getting slaughtered right about now.

I normally don't post to a guy like you who is obviously not a trader and spends 24/7 on here chirping....but what the hell...having a great day so am in a good mood.

yes...I am giving Surf a compliment. While I do bust his balls I do think Surf is a good guy. I have in the past complimented him once his "call" is profitable in a decent amount. The problem is, he goes for home runs way too often, especially when going counter trend, and ends up having all losing trades. I hope this one works out great for him......a huge market sell off will make for great trading again. But given Surf's past losses, he is gonna need a huge winner to get back on track in the profit column.

I don't fade anyone's call...nor really give a shit how others do, doesn't affect my p/l. If anyone does actually fade Surf, they are doing great and are still way ahead of the game.....but I have zero interest in fading anyone.

Gee Guys I hate to spoil the lovefest but please take those mano a mano discussions to private messages, or somewhere other than marketsurfer's thread. You just can't seem to help yourself, can't resist the personal attacks. No problem. I removed a small one from someone's post today who I thought knew better but I can see I was mistaken. No more editing. I don't really care who "started it". If any part of your post contains a personal attack the whole thing disappears. Seriously, enough already.

  9. i am very convinced of an imminent meltdown in equity prices.

VIX may see 32 very soon.....

DJIA 7500 is in the cards here, 9097 is the next major support per the studies. next is the 8800 range, then 8300.....

Short WELLS FARGO---26.40 range: potential nasty nasty news here triggering a lucifuge style death spiral placing extreme fear back into the marketplace.

holding YM shorts into wednesday...the fear is real....

    best wishes,
    surf
