  5. maintaining shorts in DJIA here, up nice and down a bit today--presently down 5 points in YM. data is still overwhelmingly strong for short at the surfershack this evening--- sticking with anna lysis.

    maintaining strong dollar position via short eur/usd, presently profitable.

  7. many thanks, mr. P . those goldbugs(barbera) are always down on equities, but i believe some of his ideas may be correct this time.

    one of my statistical minded colleques has reminded that this is the first break of a round # in the SP since november 2006 and the 7th consecutive up movement of 100 points without a fall of 100 points since november 2002. this in and of itself seems exceedingly bearish to me, however, is not the rationale behind the entry.

    holding shorts, we'll see what happens....
