  3. Marketsurfer,

With all due respect, what the hell happened with you over the last year or so? You had a great journal here and many traders took your advice seriously--almost a folk hero in some parts. Now, you seem confused and very erratic with your writing and trading. I tried to piece the puzzle together as I truly miss the old surfer, what I can determine is your downfall started when you begin hanging around and listening to that Neiderhofer guy. He has truly influenced you in a negative way it seems. You had a successful system, now I have no idea what you are doing. Please take this as constructive criticism and bring back the old surf. Not sure what else is going on, but whatever it is, I wish you success in 2007.

    Thanks,

    colin

I apologize. Bloomberg as usual sucks. Still showing Dow futures down -83 although S&P futures are slightly up.

I don't get why they call this a business channel...

Edit: About 3 mins after I posted this, they corrected the ticker. Hm, somebody is reading ET at Bloomberg.... :)

  10. man, 2006 went fast. as i look back over the year, i see it as a year of market experimentation, searching for a better way--(which was not found) backtesting with the old methods indicate that it would have been an incredibly profitable year had I remained with the old tactics. this is a tough truth to face. it was a super difficult year, i barely survived and only because of killer, succesful trades in oil and several stocks.

i'll post on the surf report when there is something important to say. no set schedule this year.

hope to see everyone periodically in 2007. best wishes, surfer
