  1. Okay surf, DOW completes almost 200 pt move. 12,007 now the low. This is my exit as I think that psychological number will hold through to the election. Another shortable high awaits, call me crazy but I am back long.

    however, i am continuing to hold all positions going into monday--
    short DJIA, long EUR/USD, short OIL, long NAPS

    nothing has changed in our outlook, yet.

  6. Prior to retiring for the weekend, just wanted to make an observation. Today was classic in the DJIA regarding how the indexes respond to confusion in world events. the movements of the dow mirrored the amount of uncertainty in the election. when it was close to certain that the demoncrats would take the senate, the djia took off on the upside. this type of situation is eminently tradeable and provides a proven edge to the trader.

  8. thanks. no, the DJIA short position was closed with a loss, i am presently flat the index.

    yes, i daytraded the YM today based on the ebb and flow of the election results. nicely profitable!
