  4. our euro trade is paring the drawdown here, continuing to hold all positions long euro, long naps, short DJIA, short oil.

giving these postions time to work out--the study is solid sticking with it.

    best,

  5. You don't have to answer, but I'm curious what got you to flip long on the euro right before NFP just when your short trade seemed ready to take off (you had held against a pretty sharp spike up that quickly fizzled out). The simplest explanation would be that you had a good source that the number would come out far lower than expectation -- I wouldn't blame you for reversing your position then.

  6. thanks for the kind words, but i am not going to talk about the 'whys' of my positions.

these are all longer term and, as most know on ET, I am generally early in entries, unfortunately!!

    holding all positions here

  8. Surf, I know we have our differences but I warned you 5 days and 120 pips ago the Euro was still going down and 5 minutes before this post we violated the last extreme bottom again.

I know you think I'm a nut but put a bandaid on that bleeding. I hate seeing anyone, even you, in a price slide against you.
