the DJIA long trade is presently profitable--- holding here. expecting nice upside into end of week. surfer
once again, prolly as expected, nice turnaround...can u tell us your profit tgt since your pos went against u more than 150points...just to understand your r/r. tia
thanks. i dont have profit target--- please see several pages earlier in journal. i doubled position making B/E 10968.50 in cash djia. surf
ah, another thing; have u noticed that on all of your trades if u waited for a bounce/retracement instead than tryin' to catch the bottoms/tops u would have fared much better? look at today/yesterday if u got in there/here u would be still in much better shape...same can be said for many trades u made, like goog and all your futs ones. things to keep into consideration, innit, since it does not make a good case for countertrend approach. have a good tradin' session
yes. you are correct. i realize that my system is often early, i counteract this by scaling into the trade. the issue i would have with your approach, is i really don't know how early the system triggers are--hence i take them being sized properly to allow for 2 -4 additional entries to smooth out the average price across time waiting for the expected directional move. surf
I would take profits here, the Dow being up at 11091. Here is the reason: This rally before the announcement was very strange. Chances for a selloff is much bigger than for further rallying, but of course I could be wrong. At least put in a stop loss order. Otherwise nice trade!!!
Surf, I have to agree with Peleko but of course I don't know your timeframes but for the record I've sold some 126 SPY Calls and bought some 127 SPY Calls as a credit spread.
i have been following the surfer for a number of years and he has been lucky for a long time. although i do question the timing of his new system. anyway, great trade marketsurfer. ride the wave. ecas
