  2. Out of curiousity... what do you think your pasta is made of? I assume it's not the typical white flour variety?

  3. That would be my guess, too, assuming he has a normal metabolism and a sedentary lifestyle.

  4. Well, my point was simply that all pastas come from a flour source, whether it be whole grain, sprouted variety[good] or enriched white flour[bad]. Otherwise you'd be eating Kashi. :p

  5. Thunderdog

Sometimes desperate times require desperate actions.

By eliminating carbs for a month it SHOULD re-regulate ones thyroid and glucose levels.

It will also starve Candida a huge reason why so many people CRAVE sweets and carbs once you can get the Candida killed off you will eliminate the cravings (which is the root problem of obesity).

30 days is nothing in the scheme of things and well worth the effort.

I'm 5'9 140 lbs and probably have 4-6% body fat.

I'm not that active (anymore) but like the other poster wrote "It's really 80% diet" and HEALTHY eating is the way to go BUT you still have to do some exercise. :)

  9. I'll admit that being emaciated will probably add to longevity. From the pic, you look like you'll live to 120. Pritikin-types have very long life-spans due to the absence of heart disease.

I don't see the correlation between being emaciated and possessing knowledge of endocrinology or physiology.
