  1. we are flat entering the morning in the djia , NASDAQ. SHORT OIL.

    will be mechanically trading the channels.

    just spoke with the KING of short sellers--- he is down with the following stocks---

    heard it on the surf report first.....

    Dave: Are you able to share one or several companies you are looking at presently to short?

    Manuel: Absolutely. Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. [ENER|ENER] and KFX Inc. [KFX|KFX]. These are very questionable companies. They are using higher oil prices in their promotions.

  6. we closed out the day FLAT the djia and nasdaq--no signal.

  7. WHOA ! upper line has rejected dow thus far. once again, uncannily the DJIA stopped DIRECTLY on the upper channel figure and dropped back into the channel. we are FLAT. see attached chart.

  8. the djia made a second but weaker attempt to burst out of the channel. see the chart. we are still flat.
    nasdaq came within 8 points of the upper channel line and was rejected back down.

    oil shorts doing well, china short down .43 here.

  9. you certainly can fade the failures. i have not traded that way, but is should be viable.
