  3. invoking system gap rule this morning should the DJIA gap thru the lower channel figure at open.

  5. How many points did you miss by trading out and then back in??

    I don't mean to be obnoxious but this highlights an important trading principle, particularly for milking a multi-day trend. You threw those points away, & in the end they do add up. (I'm speaking from experience!) :)

  6. you are right. however, fortunately, i did not miss very many DJIA points by trading in and out. thanks for the advice.

  7. I'll guess of the total points from your original entry, you probably sacrificed ~4%. As you said, not a lot in and of itself. Yet, If you are going to be riding this wave over several weeks and do that 1-2x per week you could conceivably give up 20-40% of the total trade.

    That is the way it works - Outch! Been there, done that.

    That music's good, ... got any more that you like to listen to ? ... free, on the web, if possible ! lol ... I'm really out of touch with music any more, 'cos all the commercial stuff is so bad.

    I've also been looking for some jazzed-up, 12-string guitar, maybe a little congas, South American-type music. Do you know of any ?
