Vic was speaking about airport security in a portion of the meeting when commemorating a friend who died on 9/11 and one of the attendees stated that what is being done at the airport is nothing more then security theatrics for the benefit of calming the puplic. Victor introduced an expert to comment on the issue. I forgot his name already, but suffice it to say he was once on a panel advising Bush on a number of issues and now works for the U.N (correct me if im wrong marketsurfer). He wasn't able to reveal details because the report he put together is classified, but he was able to enlighten us on the true picture of security and what is and isn't effective as well as the way that terrorist cells communicate. On a plus note, Victor had some interesting things to say about the current effect of media on our thinking and the general lack of critical news.
his name is yossi ben-dak and yes, you are correct. i'll try to keep you posted when / if he gives another talk. yeah, i know exactly where you were sitting. that guy behind you was GIGANTIC !
350 plus. however, as you are aware, it was done in the strictest sense of proper trade size management--although pushed to the limit--i was still within the parameters. surfer
I have a lot of respect for you. You are the only person on ET that is willing to post the fact that they lost money on a trade. That's character. You see everyone else on ET apparently has never had a losing trade in their life and they catch every turn, every rally, every selloff. Hats off to you Surf, you are so far ahead of everyone else here. Most people on here dream of one day having the courage to admit they are not perfect and they make bad trades. I'm talking about those of you that post on the trading thread. You know who you are.
we are closing longs here 10316 cash equivalent. going flat. stay tuned for next channel figures. surfer
