  3. it is our contention that the market is settling in at a near term top, hence the erratic action. this is typical and classic action and we are holding the shorts here.

  4. I like the position as odds appear w/ you for a very short term pull back at least, but I haven't seen anything particularly erratic of late. As a matter of fact the US markets have been snoozing. For some erratic topping action look at the China contract traded in Hong Kong - HHI, w/ insane 3-4% range each day.

My bet is that we are really only going to get jerked around by US earnings announcements. So, we might get a sharp drop after INTC which will allow you to cover, but net-net seems high risk to me. My s-t play is to fade reactions to the likes of INTC, CSCO, etc. Not prone to hold a large directional position ahead of these announcements.

Any real selloff will be very traditional this year - beginning in the late summer or early fall - not the spring and

Not that you should care ... :)

  8. Hey Surfer, looks like shorts are in the $$ tomorrow. I thought this may happen, bullish up until earnings then BAM! Down she falls...looks like it so far in the after hours. All good things come to those who wait. Nice pickin' Dave! :D :D
