we are long after auto executing a perfect entry when 9503 was violated. holfing longs in YM and DIA here. best, surfer
hi, nice to see you here. i have a 3 point stop above entry in BBI so it is a longer term hold. no i do not have a downside target but 11 will not surprise me best, surfer
Is BBI a long term short trade? It will take awhile for it to move down to 15 or 11. Still curious on why you entered the trade? Was it pure technicals or on some fundamental expectations? Is it because of a bounce back to the neckline of the head and shoulders? Good luck though. I'm still learning, don't have much experience in longer term trades.
Expected this upsurge when the Fed left rates this low, its jet fuel for this market.3 pnt. stop above entry BBI,doesn't that put you over a 6 month high?Breakout territory again.I think since folks are getting arrested for downloading music they are probably going to go out and rent movies. Is there some kind of fundamental kick that you know of forecasting this downfall or are you going off an overbought chart?I think there gonna make a teepee out of your hide and probably not give your scalp back either:eek:
hi pete, thanks for the chart. i still think BBI drops soon. disposable DVD's are just one reason..... best, surfer
9605, the next figure from the neogann wheel is proving to be heavy resistance in the march to 10,000. we are holding longs here from 9503 with stops at 9533. still short BBI best, surfer
Are you going off a Michael Brush post-'Is Blockbuster Doomed?'9/17?Dave,thats silly.Excellent movies, such as Pirates of the Caribbean,we go to the theater and see.Average movies we wait for video release. We have video on demand but don't use it,cheaper to rent and would like to watch when we want and more than once without paying twice. The movie industry keeps booming because of a perfect price structure in place for years. You know if you shop around at these places you can buy perviously viewed vids and DVDs for almost the same price as the proposed disposables.Unlike the music industry which is a high price fleecing, which I boycotted years ago,I don't buy CDs.I believe if the music industry would have taken the movie industry lead and adapted, lets say CD rentals at Blockbuster for lets say $.50 a week, there would not be download problems the likes we see today! One more note:Have you been to the local library lately?Thats where we get our movies. And I set get, not rent for free! And if your late they send a reminder,no late fee and selections not bad either. Now that will ruin an industry.NFLX has been on a tear and may be a short some day but I put the chart up to show one of the strategies I have been using.Notice when parabolic SAR is over price and falling the same time price is rising?NFLX depicts this well and I have been screening for this converging condition.A place that we do some of this screen is at stockfetcher.com,now theres a challenge. Thanks Dave.
"Pirates of the Caribbean" ??? Johnny Depp is an a**hole. Just in case you missed this... http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/09/05/entertainment/main571760.shtml He will NEVER get a penny of my "dumb American" money to see any of his movies. Volume
