Great call! I must admit that I doubted your "hold longs at all costs" approach, but I has paid off for you man.
thanks, man. however, it is not a 'hold at all costs' approach. my absolute stops in the DJIA were 8096, and nasdaq--1317. see my post on april 10th. i entered when buy signals fired at 8280 in djia and 1380 in nasdaq---this combined with cyclical and other factors made it well worth risking 184 djia points and 63 nasdaq points. my risk parameters were in check at all times. all the best in sunny florida, surfer
well, after seeing the barrons headlines, i am a little concerned about my bullish stance. however, not enough to close the positions at this time. my technical analysis is extremely unclear for monday, it is very close to 50/50 between bull and bear. intuitively it seems that there will be some selling monday--but we will see. holding longs at this time....... best, surfer
i am still confidently long in the system index trades. i am learning to day trade the YM . it is a smooth moving contract when compared to the es or nq. i believe there is much potential in this contract for the future. i recommend taking a look. best, surfer
If the YM daily volume could pick up more (up to 100,000) then the YM would be a sweet market to trade
oh YEAH ! thanks, my cuban friend. i'll smoke a romeo/ juliet from habana in your honor. we rock ! surfer
