Thanks for following along everyone! It's been a great several months of the surf report part 2. I am going to be taking a break from trading for awhile to work on other projects------ I'll be checking back in on occasion and forsee starting up again later.

So at this juncture, are you net positive in your journal? Since a journal should track performance over time, it would be nice to know where things currently stand.

 

That's something you can work out in your carrel over the weekend... while Surf is out spending his winnings...

My observation is that Gold almost never goes down. It's too hard to short Gold as it rises with good news and bad news. Dollar goes down, gold rises. Euro goes down, gold rises. People buy gold to protect from inflation. People buy gold to protect from deflation. Shorting gold is a losing game.
