The Surf Report--part 2

1. "suggest closing shorts" isn't a trade, doctor. It's a suggestion that those following Marketsurfer's SURF REPORT or readers of The Marketsurfer Chronicles to close trades at that level--whenever they are able to do so.

regardless of the facts, You were too much a wimp to take the $100.00 bet anyway.

Although you are completely wrong with your allegation, I apprieciate your posts and interest-- The Surf Report 2 is logging 37k reads in less than 3 months on line. Many traders are being guided to success by reading the The Surf Report so thank you again for keeping the solid hit rate.

2. Of course not, my brother. sorry for the confusion. 100 points is a serious move in this environment. My target on the trade is a minimum of 100 ES points, so I am prepared to ride this wave up and down untill the target is hit at a minimum.

3. Lucrum

Lucrum

THIS is your best defense/spin? LOL

True, I did NOT take the bet, nor I would I have taken your money even if you had offered to pay. The satisfaction of pointing out you're full of shit is enough for me.

Besides, the way you "trade" I figure you need it more than I do anyway.

4. We are expecting a negative close today in the SP 500--- odds are 85% of negative close---the outward pressures are just too great for the positive day to continue. stay tuned and stay short.

7. As expected the ES has turned negative on the day.

There are multiple factors that are placed into a formula to determine the percentage likelihood of various scenerios unfolding on a daily basis. It is quite complex and takes into account multiple outside the market influencers rather than internal price structure. Basically we weigh and balance almost every possible market influence outside of price action to get a ball park figure of percentage chance of a particular outcome.

Being that price has already happened, and is a function of drivers, rather than what TA believers state, the theory behind the surf system is that the factors driving price are the varibles needed to ascertain future price. We dismiss all past price action as being noise to the real reason what happens after the trade is entered.

Applying simple rationality to trading decision one quickly understands that the closed system of studying price itself leads to delusion when making real time trading decision. One must get behind price, find the drivers and take it from there.

8. Can't you just answer my question without a backhanded slap to my face? :p

Seriously, good for you....I got a long and steady track record of what I do with TA and PA so your opinion on what I do doesn't really matter at all. Thanks for sharing your opinion though, it's noted.

Unlike you, I am well aware that there are many ways to make money in the mkts and I won't trash your system as I don't know it like the back of my hand. Some people on ET get really opinionated on things they don't understand. Human nature I guess. Weak humans that is :)

9. To everyone else reading his proof, he caught you in a lie as was 100% correct.
That's quite impressive. I know I read the smurf report everyday as it's always worth a good laugh at your expense.

10. Never clicked on these surf reports until yesterday, not really a fan of the tone the thread starter gave me after asking a simple question on his system. Reminds me of the way ET user "Dalmation" speaks to people.
