Having ideas and teaching others is his strong point. But trading is not.The guy is very smart and thinks way outside the box, which is very good....

But our ongoing debate for the last 5 yrs isn't about how smart he is, it's about you thinking he is a great trader....which he is far from. He was a trading disaster.

Hell....Soros was onto that very early.

 

Perhaps it`s just a coincidence he blew up in `97...then liquidated his "collection" hard assets in `98?

 

VN had livermore disease. Great trader who didn't care about money.

 

Interesting idea--- Enjoy the game for the sake of the game--- VN certainly loves the markets.

i think you said that this is the same system that you have for 5-10 years. historically, did it work better during bear markets?
