Hey ER, Thanks! I really dont' have a macro reason for a longer term sell off, although your list is compelling. I believe there may be swift fast selling soon short term due to unloading from large specs and commercials--profit taking--- I remain bullish in the long term--- although I beleive the bull does not have legs, but that does not matter.... surf
Don't ever lose that sense of humor. As an aside, you will note that my simple and straightforward question remains unanswered. Specifically: Rodney, since you have taken on the role of marketsurfer's Smithers, perhaps you would care to answer for him?
Makes sense surf. Shorting the US market is not worth the risk. Buying the dips or sell offs on a % level works out so far.
There is no edge available in the ES or QM presently. Therefore, no trades will be made with the account staying FLAT until the next clear opportunity emerges. Regards, surf
Why, thank you gabfly, that's why I get paid the big bucks. . I take it this is what you have issues with? http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showt...ge=6&highlight=marketsurfer buys&pagenumber=1 Perhaps it was getting name checked on the London Time's Most Precarious List way back in the day? http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showt...ge=6&highlight=marketsurfer buys&pagenumber=5
Surf, Have you read the new Larry Williams book? http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0470915765.html
No, I just had the impression that your post in question, which I had quoted in my post, was penned by someone else, because your previous (and subsequent) posts are somewhat more unevenly written. But you know me: live and let live.
Interesting, thanks! I didn't even know he was writing a new book. I'll read it soon and let you know what I think.
marketsurfer has a ghost writer? stranger things have happen BY the way, remaining flat---- no edge, no trades. surf
