I can't wait to torren... I mean to buy it, of course if the end of the world doesn't come first. How do you know the stuff isn't going to be irrelevant by then? The market has been changing awfully fast lately.
I agree with Soros. Plus I am not smart enough to go through loads of fundamental info to try and figure market direction. I let the price action do it for me. I probably learned the best lesson on trading 100% on fundamentals when I traded 10 yr futures at Refco. I learned how (to me at least) there was zero edge and it was a complete guessing game. One of these days I will start a thread about my time there. Was entertaining to say the least.
I'll send you one for free, that way you can stay on the right path. Only a section is directly on the market---
Of course I CAN, but why would I do that? I'm not SELLING anything nor do I want to. Very happy to just be a trader. Not sure why you are so stubborn concerning the idea that it might be helpful, to you, to try and views the mkts from a different angle, a fresh perspective if you will. The drivers of price don't seem to be giving you very good entries, net/net. And, I cannot for the life of me tell what your risk mgmt style is, other than hope that it works out. Again, the attacks aren't necessary. There is no 'nonsense' in learning to trade based on the mkts rules nor am I throwing any 'regurgitated' trading book wisdom at you....I haven't read a trading book in YEARS!! I told you already, the egg heads who write about trading do not interest me nor are reading these books essential to finding a profitable system. And to the 'subtle self ego strokes' comment...come on guy....I'm trying to help a stubborn guy see things differently. We've all been there, stuck in our own heads clinging to an idea. Sometimes a fresh perspective can help to connect the dots.
Sorry, but unless the post is made by EPrado, who has proven to have uncanny accuracy, i'm not listening. He was just on the correct side by 40 points, and you were on the wrong side by 40 points. The traders can figure out who's worth following, and who isn't. But there's surf in his post trying to tell us what he "thinks". Ugh.
The fact that you are continually posting here prove you are trying to prove something, yet all that happens is repeating the same nonsense and obvious rhetoric. Move along, you and you doppelgänger are not welcomed here. Folks without evidence making ridiculous claims are not welcomed here. If you are not selling anything you have nothing to lose be creating your own journal and demonstrating your supposed acumen. Your help is readily available everywhere. You bring nothing new to the table. "the matkets rules". "years". You are totally out of your league here. Time to go trolling back on yahoo or in the third world countries where you ply your trade.
I don't deserve any Kudos. Was just an observation. This time it was right. I agree with you that mkts go down a hell of a lot faster than up, and short trades can be rewarded MUCH quicker at times than the longs.....but if my strategy tells me to get long 87 times in a row, I will. I think that separates the good from the bad traders. Ya have to leave opinions/what you "want" out of trading. Me....like most traders I know, love being short. It's a blast being short something as it gets obliterated. I WANT to be short....but I don;t trade on what I want. Some of my buddies are perma bears. Have been since I started traded with them in early 90's. During bear mkts they crush it, during bull mkts they get clobbered. At the end they are basically scratch traders. Who wants to be that?
Thank you kind sir. I have really scaled back on the number of trades I am doing each week, so it gives me more time to pollute Surf's thread with my "knowledge". Did you check out opening day's card on Friday at Saratoga? Great betting. Check out the 75k Sprint stake. Looks like The BC Sprint. Is ungraded, could easily be a Grade I. Gotta love Saratoga.
It's going to be 100 degrees in NY tomorrow. Probably higher w the humidity. I feel sorry for the horses who have to run. Aside from that, can you please email me the PP's for the card? Thanks and good luck.
