The stricter the gun laws, the safer the children

I understand the basis of the study. You are trying to fall back on technicalities here, and its your modus operandi whenever arguments don't go they way you want.

You're saying that more laws equal less guns and less guns equal less death in children. This is absolutely true and I am not debating that. But the manner in which children die to firearms is an important distinction in this discussion, and one you are unwilling to concede. The data specifically shows that the portion of "unintentional" death - which is the only portion that any legislation will actually affect - is so small in the grand scheme of things that it won't even move the needle if you magically eliminated all of it tomorrow.

Like most narratives, you start with a sprinkle of truth and extrapolate to make it so "if we just added gun laws, our problems would all be solved." Even if you don't come out and say that, it is obvious that is what the CNN article that you posted (and your intent in opening the thread) were on about.

I am not the sheep you folks are used to brainwashing in schools and in your DNC mail lists. I see right through your bullshit, even if you want to innocently pretend you were just talking about a few "lil ol' laws that won't hurt nobody."

Limted access to guns mean limited access to guns to gangs.

Inner city gangs dont have fully automatic weapons. They dont have them because of no supply, there is no supply because they are hard to buy and own legally and illegal possession is an ATF case and 10 year prison sentence.

You are legitimately crazy. The data shows a 35% difference in states with background and Id checks. It states it clearly in the first paragraph.

Unintentional deaths is not the only portion of deaths the id and background checks impact. Go read the discussion.

You are a sheep whether you understand it or not because you cannot even accept the truth when it is right in front of your face.

  7. Need to start raising higher quality people on the Dem Plantation, and upgrading the quality of their Dem Masters.

Guns are not the problem. The increase of uncivilized people is.

Years ago, the states with the highest level of gun ownership per capita- such as Maine and Vermont- also had the lowest crime rates. An inconvenient truth.

Ah, so it is law enforcement who is the problem in Chicago, but legislation is the reason in New York City.

    How convenient!

Your mistake (one of them) is equating this study with "truth" in the first place.
