The strange case of Japan and Covid-19

I think social behaviour really matters here. In Japan it's not really socially acceptable to talk loudly in public spaces, especially public transport. The louder one talks, the more droples they spray, even with a mask on.

 

Yet Japanese girls are the most loud ones in US when in Starbucks. Really, really loud.

 

Maybe that explains why they're in the US and not in Japan, perhaps?

 

Wow...the ones I saw in Starbucks didn't even talk. Weird
