  2. It's noteworthy how many "lurkers" and "semi-lurkers" (I count myself in this group) have spoken out against the ignorance and intolerance of those who caused Jack to announce his departure. As for myself, I wish that I had taken more time while Jack was still here to participate actively, and to document how I am applying Jack's teaching to my own trading. I think if more of us had done so, then the signal (Jack teaching, the rest of us learning) would have been louder than the noise (FendTrader, Bagman, NoNoSense, etc...)

I hope that these failed traders will spew their poison elsewhere, and I welcome the suggestion that the rest of us continue to keep the thread alive and to continue to help each other learn from the information that is present in this thread.

  3. Everything you need to pull a lot of money out of the market is in this thread. At the very least, you should be able to get to Jack's intermediate level. That is, unless you're stuck in loser's land like TrendFighter, BeggarLord, and NoneSense.

What's missing is Jack's explanation of his tic-tac-toe grid. I'm hopeful he will continue that discussion in another forum.

It's sad to see Jack go, I really owe him a lot. I hope he changes his mind and comes back. I will email him and ask him to let us know if he moves to another board.

The wieners (as someone here called them) seem to come here in waves, usually after bad days in the market. This month was the worst since the thread kicked off, and so it rained with wieners.

I agree with Sniper, let's simply ignore the wieners and carry on. There have been many helpful discussions lately and if we stick with it through Aug things will get much easier in Sept.

To make it more interesting, yesterday I started to trade LIVE (work slowed down and I have more time). Since I am undercap'ed for the ES, I started with the YM - smaller multiplier, seems to trend better. Trying to get calibrated on the volume - roughly 10x less the values for ES. One apparent drawback is liquidity.
Today I took the 2nd traverse after pt 3, around 11:30. Failed to traverse so I washed at ~ BE (should've reversed too). Will post trades later.

    Cheers,
    Vorzo

  7. I would like to apologize for disrupting this thread. While I may not agree with Jack, or agree with everything he says, that doesn't give me the right to ridicule him. He seems to click with many people. I apologize to Jack, and to all the people that have gotten something out of this thread. I'm young, dumb, full of testosterone, and do lots of stupid stuff. OK now that is my last post here for real.

  9. I'll assume this is a legitamate inquiry. I'd suggest taking it one step at a time and ask a single question at a time. It's easiest if you use the quote feature when responding here so all can tell exactly what you're refrencing.

Too bad to see this thread die because of a very few immature morons that could not understand it and therefore thought it was up to someone to hand them the grail on a silver platter. To bad they didn't lurk and try to learn instead of demanding WHAT I WANT FROM YOU RIGHT NOW. Three to add to my ignore list.

The twits have seemed to kill the most thought provoking thread on this entire site. It was interesting for me to read Jacks explanation on things that I have looked at and used for years but could not put to words. I felt it was more of an intuition or "feel" for the market. After reading Jacks take on it the pure mechanics of what I was doing hit me.

If you want to start a thread on how you believe astrology or reading tea leaves is the best way to trade I will not read it but I will not try to run you off the site either. Please do the same for others.

    Just my opinion.

    chasmann.
