I was raised a big meat eater but we always had a variety of vegetables too, and a big salad we ate at the BEGINNING of the meal. But the truth in nutrition and health shall win out and I gave.. BEEF DA BOOT!
a 'balanced diet" is a meaningless cliche at the start of each day you still must decide what to eat and how much. what you choose NOT to eat is just as important as what you eat GIVE BEEF DA BOOT!
You posted the article where you OWN expert said this: "People worrying about cancer and diet should take a balanced approach, said Doyle. " No one food is going to put our cancer risk over the top." Balance, baby...BALANCE
You should know these things if you are going to post articles Do you even READ these, or do you just regurgitate everything you can to blindly support your cult?
You reply more than half-dozen times with an out of context quote and you don't know what it means? Your not only an idiot, your a disingenuous idiot
You want an answer? Of course too much beef is unhealthy but thats not YOUR argument. You say give it up COMPLETELY! I'm saying that, while I agree that too much meat in a diet is bad, giving it up completely is ALSO bad. People should eat veggies, whole grains and some meat as part of a BALANCED diet. More whole grains and veggies than meat but DEFINITELY some meat. Whether that be beef, fish, chicken, tuna etc...it SHOULD continue to be part of a well balanced diet.
