  3. Eating food is essential for survival, smoking is not.

  4. kilthesunshine, the harvard study show NO PLAQUE in the people who eat mostly all meat, cheese and egg. This is not saying to eat ONLY meat cheese and egg, it is saying the SATURATED FAT is not making the plaque. They know that fruit and vegetable have vitamins and nutrients people need. They know people can not get that from meat, cheese egg.
So they not saying ONLY eat meat, cheese and egg, they are saying NO PROOF saturated fat make plaque.

  6. "Although we don't normally consider saturated fat as an essential nutrient, it is just as essential to good health as the essential polyunsaturated fatty acids. We need saturated fat for proper digestive function, growth, and a host of other processes. In fact, saturated fat is an essential component of every single cell in our bodies. It is so important to proper function and good health that nature has incorporated saturated fat into almost all of the foods we eat both of animal and plant origin. Even the so-called polyunsaturated oils like safflower oil, corn oil, and even flaxseed oil contain saturated fat. The World Health Organization and even the American Heart Association recommends that we get saturated fat in our diet to maintain optimal health. This type of information is usually ignored because saturated fat is considered a health hoodlum lurking in our food just to cause problems, and the less we eat the better. But this is simply not true. Nature doesn't put saturated fat in vegetables, mother's milk, and other foods for kicks. It's there for a reason."

    GIVE MODERATION A CHANCE

  8. Here's a news flash for you....your posts are NOT gospel. It's only your delusions about your "stance" that make it impossible for you to realize that recent evidence out there suggests that you are WRONG about some of what you post.

I told you, I believe that too much meat, too much saturated fat is unhealthy. And Americans eat way too much of both. Both you are arguing to give it all up completely so....you ma'am....are the f^cking moron :D

Olive, soybean and palm oils intake have a similar acute detrimental
effect over the endothelial function in healthy young subjects.

    OBJECTIVE: To
evaluate the acute effect of the ingestion of large amounts of olive,
soybean and palm oils, fresh and at two different deep-fry levels, on
the glucose and lipid profiles and the endothelial function.

    RESULTS:
All the meals resulted in a similar acute endothelial impairment (FMD
decrease of 32.1%, confidence interval [CI] 95%, 28.0-36.2) and
postprandial increase in triglycerides (27.03%, CI 95%, 20.5-33.3),
independently of the type of oil ingested (p=0.44) and regardless of its
    deep-fry level (p=0.62).

    All
the vegetable oils, fresh and deep-fried, produced an increase in the
triglyceride plasma levels in healthy subjects.

READ IT AND WEEP! GIVE BEEF AND OLIVE OIL DA BOOT! :D
