  1. What is it with you and EXTREMES? People can love BOTH meat and veggies, why are you having such a problem comprehending this concept? :D

  3. Ok, let me rephrase then...people can eat BOTH meats and veggies and be perfectly healthy. I know this because I am a person who eats both and have a clean bill of health (last physical was in Sept, blood tests and all).

  4. you are "healthy" till your not, right?

a "physical" is a snapshot in time.

too late, the damage is done after that first bad physical. it's coming :D

  5. I could say the same thing about you, vitamin deficiency will erode your organs you know :D

Nah, not too worried. Thanks for your concern though. Looking forward to that steak tonight! And a few glasses of Cabernet.

PS I trust the doctors at New York Presbyterian just a tad more than someone trying to kill the sunshine :D

  7. Probably because most people eat TOO MUCH. I advocate moderation and I eat what I want and am perfectly healthy.

Feels good to be in this position :D

  8. ok, what is "moderation"? is saturated fat unhealthy? is any amount healthy? Is a "moderate" amount healthy? Is a little amount necessary?

  9. Moderation is eating meat a lot more than YOU do and a lot less than Joe six pack with heart disease who eats double cheeseburgers everyday.

Once or twice a week eating a 4-6 ounce piece of meat is perfectly fine. My doctor says so and he knows WAY more about this than you do.

Yes, saturated fats are essential, too much is bad of course. And so is too little, veg head. But, like I pointed out before, too much of anything is bad for you. Don't believe me? We breathe air right, well try and huff and puff as fast as you can and deep breaths and see how long it takes you before you pass out! LoL :D
