We don't have to get sick as we get older! It is simply that people get sick when they get older. I don't often meet people who want to suffer cardiovascular disease or whatever, and we get those things as a result of the lifelong accumulation of various types of molecular and cellular damage. This is harmless at low levels but eventually it causes the diseases and disabilities of old age â which most people don't think are any fun. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2010/aug/01/aubrey-de-grey-ageing-research a meat-laden diet is THE biggest progenitor of insidious low level cellular damage, hand down
how does eating ANYTHING in "moderation" (whatever that is. to YOU prolly 2lb/day) that's harmful for you better than not eating it at all? don't you get the point, genius, the small physiologic insults add up to a premature death over a lifetime duh
The lady in the office next door offered me some home cured ham. Sounded good, but for the first time I actually used the line "No thanks, I'm a vegetarian." It sounded weird saying it. I'd never really told anyone explicitly before. It was just something I did.
Correct. You can get sick even when you are a teenager. My daughter is on the verge of being anorexic because of the idiot who turned her into a vegetarian. Now she gets to go to the doctor to try and save herself. I don't know why people can't just admit we are meat eaters instead of trying to convince others we shoud be herbivores. It's insanity if you ask me.
