  1. I like duck, don't really care about my health too much. Don't eat poorly overall so who cares. I live life and feel great.

  2. Everyone feels great till they don't. Then they feel worse see their doc who places them on statins, BP pills and a bad photocopy of a low fat diet that he knows you won't follow anyway because you "live" for duck :D

mixed tandoori grill for me - chicken, tika lamb, king prawn, kofta, and the rest...... no beef, but a variety of other animals died to satisfy my palate this evening.

  8. Paying a Price for Loving Red Meat

A new study shows that red meat has had a severe impact on our health and longevity.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/28/health/28brod.html

To prevent premature deaths related to red and processed meats, Dr. Popkin suggested in an interview that people should eat a hamburger only once or twice a week instead of every day, a small steak once a week instead of every other day, and a hot dog every month and a half instead of once a week.

    :D

  10. two burgers a week is already more hamburgers than I eat, guess I need to add more hamburgers to my diet to keep up with his recommendation.

also duck last night was good, but too spicy!
