the sociopathic Ayn Rand revealed

  1. See now you're being intentionally mean. Is that called for? I'm hurt.

I said I would go back and re-read the thread. Now get off my goddamn back. (wink)

Racist? What does race have to do with this discussion? Amazing how you righties always have race on the brain but get outraged when one of you is called out for making clearly racist comments. (btw I'm not calling you a racist). Ignorant? We are all ignorant about a great many important things. As long as it's not willful, ignorance is nothing to be ashamed of. Inbread? I've had bread inside of me but I've never been "in bread." :p Nor inbred for that matter.

My comment was just an observation about the apparent irony of Thomas being a Randian when he lets Scalia do 99% of his thinking in SCOTUS. But having read the history of the serial-killer groupie's cult, evidently that's the way things are supposed to work in the Wonderful Land of Rand. Randroid is indeed a much better descriptor than Randian. :D

I want to stay out of that stuff, and would like to see it die down, it's showing up in too many threads.

I hoped this thread would drift away from its smear start and towards a more well intentioned, even if amateurish, discussion of Rand's thoughts.

My thoughts on the subject are -

    1. yes they are rockstars in D.C.
    2. the party in control gets to hand out jobs.
    3. the politicians therefore get lots of women not just the ones in these scandals
    4. Oddly most guys pick long term wives and mistresses at about the same look level or one level up - even when they are wealthy.

Back then - - I am confident my taste in women would not have been questioned by most males. I liked them to look like Princess Grace or a better looking less big boned version cindy crawford. Not saying that my girlfriends were necessarily that pretty - but that is how my taste ran.

By the way none of this is that important to me know. I am married, have kids and fatter. My standards would have to be far far reduced if I were single.
