    This is so sick, looking at the chart I can see that there was plenty of time to get in OSG before it reached my target of $0.6. I had the discipline to set my orders everyday for weeks, I miss one pre-market and they file. This is BS. One day I will nail a BK daytrade in size and I will make thousands cuz this makes me sick

    OSG was halted at 08:00:27

    The official PR is timestamped 8.16am, although there was a Reuters story at 7.54am.

    So you only had a handful of minutes to short the stock before the halt - if you had been away from your desk for whatever reason then you could have missed it easily.

    but use a bit less size.

    I was referring to Daal's idea of a "BK daytrade in size".

    I agree that there is no need to wait for a bankruptcy filing to short OSG (or similar stocks) if using a smaller position.

    I am short OSG calls.

    I like doing both, when the reliable rumor comes out my confidence can go from 60-90% chance of bk to 99% and this warrants a larger bet
