http://www.theflyonthewall.com/perm...ess-attributed-to-Augustdated-letter-from-SEC Zillow weakness attributed to August-dated letter from SEC The weakness in shares of Zillow is being attributed to a letter posted on the SEC's website, dated August 30, to the company's CEO Spencer Rascoff. In the letter, the SEC questions, among other things, why the company would preclude from disclosing the percentage increase in the average price paid for Premier Agent subscriptions. http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1334814/000000000012047289/filename1.pdf
Not so convincing but interesting report by Citron on Zillow (Z)...but true enough those insiders are selling like a zombie invasion is coming.
I haven't read the report, but with stocks like AMZN LNKD and Z, they are only one bad quarter away from a double digit percentage decline, and a complete loss of the momentum investing crowd. A good example is the reaction to CMG's most recent quarterly earnings report.
AAMRQ, all the smart money is on the debt. Stock is worthless IMO http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390444657804578050900288523268.html?mod=googlenews_wsj
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-...ay-seek-bankruptcy-protection.html?cmpid=yhoo AONE might file for bk. Stock is kinda low to short though(13 cents). But I might short a pop here
Huge blunder, I got the news of AONE bk filling as fast as the bloomberg terminal guys due an audio news service I use, yet the stock wasn't moving at all, just flat at 15c with little trading, I thought it was weird and did nothing. When the news broke on twitter stock plunged, I shorted a bit and made peanuts I could have made thousands there
1st rule of bk stock trading is ALWAYS short first and ask questions later, worse case is lose the spread and commissions. It doesn't matter if its a rumor or unconfirmed In this case it was completely confirmed but I chickened out
