The shocking cost of ‘free’ water in detroit

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Max E., Jul 27, 2014.

  1. You know what's funny? The ranting righties have no clue how much of the federal budget is being wasted on welfare fraud. Judging by their outrage one would think it's some huge amount. It's a big reason why they vote conservative.............to stop this horrible giveaways to undeserving minority types.

Any of you want to hazard a guess?

Once again you prove what a naieve fool you are, its not just the amount that gets paid down on welfare, its all of the side effects that come along with it. Because you liberals insist on subsidising shaniqua when she has 5 babies without a father, they do it over and over, then 3 of those kids end up in jail, and how many millions do they end up costing the system? Then they each pump out a couple more kids and it keeps growing and griowing and growing.

We have entire jails built full of people because liberal do gooders never wanted to tell anyone it was their fault their entire life, and they never wanted anyone to ever have to suffer the consequence of their actions.

Oooh pick me! (I remember from your ranting the other day). 1 or 2 percent?

But that number (which you didn't prove proof of) aside, you're not thinking clearly (as usual). Too focused on your brother, I would gather.

It's not the percent of the total federal budget that is relevant. It's the percent of the total Welfare budget. Now, I know you don't have any business sense whatsoever, so I'll try to dumb this down for you. When you look at a project's efficiency, you look within the scope of the project to root out waste and costs.

Why don't you tell us how much of the welfare budget is spent on fraud? Keep in mind, once you get that, you won't have included the amount of money spent on people who are too lazy to get a job, etc. You'll just have the cheaters. When you add THEM into it, the number gets really impressive.

We pay about $45/month and that's about 3500 gallons. Extrapolate out ... 4 times that is $180 and would translate to 14,000 gallons. That would be approaching 500 gallons per day.

Funny too that this person is a "community organizer" ..... maybe she's related to Odumbo.

At the confluence of many natural resources, a city was founded. Owing to that rich, natural base, the city grew. Great industries arose there, eventually selling their goods to the world. The population... ballooned. Then economic forces shifted and the city's industry collapsed. The population was pitched into chaos.

    Never heard this story before.

  10. What is a "community organizer"? I never heard the term until talking about Odumbo.

Seems to me community organizer is the equivalent of union boss. IOW... "someone who organizes sentiment to get something (undeserved) for free at the expense of others".
