im trying to understand what this means but i cant seem to find any good resources. a company I own went on the SHO list and was on for more than 10 days. at first it said it had 50 mil shares outstanding and 6k shares declared short, so it was kept on the list. a few days later, it said it still had 50+ mil shares o/s but since now 60k shares were declared short it was removed. i'm not sure what this really means for the company and its future. any help would be appreciated. thanks
"i'm not sure what this really means for the company and its future. any help would be appreciated" Call Dr. Kervorkian, your life is ruined.
Has nothing to do with the company itself. I think your talking about Reg SHO list. If its on the SHO list its its not subject to the uptick rule when shorting. read this. http://www.nyse.com/regulation/memberorganizations/1114512102403.html
