And yet hospitals all over California are laying off doctors and nurses, cutting hours because - hmm - no patients and no elective surgery. Videos popping up all over the place of ghost town hospitals. Isn't that strange?
You are distorting the news simply by not researching... Orr joins thousands of health care workers across the nation who have been laid off, furloughed or are working reduced hours as their services are deemed nonessential and patients skip routine visits during an outbreak of COVID-19 cases, based on reporting from advocacy groups and from news stories from across the nation. As routine patient visits decline amid stay-at-home orders, thousands of health care professionals lack work By June, an estimated 60,000 family practices will close or significantly scale back, and 800,000 of their employees will be laid off, furloughed or have their hours reduced as they see a decline in business during the coronavirus pandemic, The situation is a Catch-22 of sorts. As hospitals and emergency rooms deal with a surge of patients affected by the coronavirus, clinics and other health care centers see a decline in elective surgeries, procedures and preventive care such as annual physicals, well-woman visits and regular teeth cleanings.
I don't think you're in disagreement as much as you might like to be in disagreement. What both of you posted is true.
No the constant implication has been that this is not that big of a deal. we are not saying the same thing. The comment is hospitals are laying off medical workers and are empty so this virus is not a big deal. Most of the medical workers are NOT from hospitals but family medical practices that have had to close and wings of hospitals that focus on elective surgeries. However ICUs and areas treating COVID patients are not as rosy. Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday said that California would be short about 17,000 hospital beds, raising his previous estimate of a 10,000-bed shortfall. The state was also short 1 billion protective gloves and hundreds of millions of masks, he said.
They shutdown beaches when the level of feces and other vile substances including, chemicals exceed a certain amount. This is in extreme liberal cities of California. So, what she is saying is a big fat lie. The sheriffs and lifeguards would have shutdown beaches as they monitor the germs, chemicals and viruses in the water to reach levels where they deem it harmful. Otherwise, all the surfers are out in droves. Extreme liberals making things up as they go along. They see the death rates of the US lower than that of Europe and trying to find ways to spin it their way with their massive and numerous lies! May karma hit your worthless asses soon enough!
I have mainly been hearing about shortage of beds, ventilators and PPE for the health care workers at the hospitals. Also private medical practices that have to shut down do not autmatically provide staff for hospitals. What does a hospital need with plastic surgeons, dentists, chiropractors, foot doctors and knee surgeons or the receptionists and assistant that worked there who have no experience with ER, ICU, Pulmonary, or virus treatment ? The fact that this has to be explained to you means you are just trolling.
It doesn't have to be explained to me. You feel the need to explain to me because you feel the need to push the narrative - a narrative I do not agree with based on what "I am hearing" vs. what "you are hearing". So just because you don't like what I'm saying or disagree with it, doesn't make your version the correct one.
I am not saying what I am hearing.. I am quoting facts v. what you are hearing.... Facts win over what yo are hearing.
