The Secret

  1. At first glance one would not think so......but there is value in this thread.

Principles of success are universal. They may be called something different by each discipline, but the underlying message is the same. It really is no secret, just takes a while to figure it out.

I wonder if you guys were in a room together if you would treat each other the same way. I bet you are really good hearted folk.

BTW, does anybody here smoke cigars?

  2. Most people are not smart enough to know how dumb they are. The more you know, the more you know you don't know. The trading arena separates those who know from those who don't, just as quickly as it separates them from their money. Becoming a very successful trader usually takes many years of work, just like any other professional. Those readers who reject the great secrets of the Universe are trying to re-invent the wheel ,which is an expensive and time-consuming prodcess. The only thing most people learn from history is that they don't learn from history. It is true that some great traders use brute will, determination and persistence to reach their goals, and igniore or shun the metaphysical principles in many success philosophies, but they risk ending up and becoming ass holes in the process.

At the cost of being ridiculed by the "ELITE TRADERS", I must say that if you fuse the information from Coolweb & Johnnie T-Bond, that in itself, with whatever pertainable excerpts from Hill that applies to you can be your "SECRET" to your own success.
Oh and would be nice to see Steve Tvardek's thoughs(another person whom I repect here on ET).

  10. Neither of them said anything of worth, in fact they just sounded angry.. so not sure what kind of philosophy could be fused together... and for the 3rd time this thread... Hill got most of his material from Haanel... why does everyone assume the other way around?
