The Secret

Discussion in 'Psychology' started by trader28, Feb 9, 2006.

  1. The true meaning of Life is to understand all its secrets and the true law of Nature. That is all a wise person aspires to achieve.
Money and assets you will be forced to leave behind once you leave your mortal body and pass on. So you see Bill Gates's money is already being transferred to others as he is 50 years old. He as a smart man does not fight it but willingly gives it away to good causes knowing that physical assets are not truly yours anyway. For me trading is surviving perilous economic times nothing more. Never to get rich and stop working.

P.S. If to become a billionaire was only requirement to truly work hard and want it strong enough I suspect we would have a lot more billionaires already here on ET.

  2. I just finished printing and reading The Master Key this last week. This is a fantastic work for those who take a metaphysical approach to trading and to life itself. It surpasses all the Napoleon Hill and Tony Robbins courses I have studied over many years. Like most success systems, it has one limitation - the student who studies it. Such success systems require very austere discipline and commitment over years to work for the trader. It still boils down to commitment, guts and a lot of time and hard work to demonstrate these principles in the market and in life. Just reading a book will never make you successful. Thanks again for posting the link to the PDF file Trader28.

Being not successful is a result of hundreds of years of ADN tweaking to ultimately achieve the homo sapiens' goal "In the search for Truth"
Some overcome that and became homo sapiens inteligentis when they dropped Truth and aimed to "In the search for Understanding"

In trading there are no truths.
(Maybe only this: You don't know what is going to happen next)
You need to understand the market.

  4. You are joking right? People are LAZY. Why do people drop out of colleges or high school or the whole academic system altogether? And don't give me that financial crap. Why not we all study to become doctors and lawyers where 75% make more than 6 figures? Give Me A Break, just put your mind to it and don't let Father Time get ahead of you!! Oh and I would try to stay away from ET :), there is absoutely nothing useful (in terms of helping one become a better trader) shared here. Open a chart and study the darn thing. Its not easy, but its your choice. You can keep whining to your grave.

your arrogance and potential ignorance is the problem:
    1) you say that you should not even be reading this thread, yet you do, moreover you participate in discussion
    2) you say that there is nothing to gain in ET, yet you are registered here for 1.5 years...and your only contribution so far is in this thread

thanks for sharing with us your inventive/daring insights, but think that maybe, just maybe, you are ignorant of the plane on which discussion takes place

good luck beating the Father Time to the clock. go get them:)

    peace

PS agree that people are lazy, but out of people who are not lazy there are many who work hard and not smart. the book discussed here is about "working" smart

  8. There are two kinds of people walking on this earth - the ones who are dying since birth and the ones who are not.
I suspect you are in the first group and I bet its miserable there.

  9. Sorry, how can i be immortal like you?
There is only one kind of people in this world, the ones that start dying from their birth and cannot accept this fact, please think about your post before posting it. No one here is trying to outdo another, although that might be a reason why these threads are so many pages long, all the things I have said is what I've learned through my own experiences. You may agree or not, no one is forcing you to. Heck if someone told me some of this early on, i would be in a way better shape. I said before that a person can become anything if they put their mind to it, even a billionaire. But am I one? NO. I will tell you the truth, I have not worked hard enough. It is not easy. Please don't post from whatever comes to your mind at first, please think through the things i have said and provide a reasonable argument if you are willing otherwise don't even bother. I have said from the start that these are all my opinions and not stating any facts that one can argue over, if you have something to say to me, oh don't mind to private msg me. GoodNight, goodluck to all of you tomorrow.

  10. Can you two move this meeting of mental giants to the "traders who are deeply religious" thread and debate the meaning of life with Trainr
