That is the MO of those who can't refute the legitimate arguments...attack personally.

Fox, Hannity, and Rush have done an excellent job of teaching their followers.

In fact, everyone that disagrees with Brandon has probably been "palling around with terrorists". And they are un-American.

  4. SO ?
If you were any good. you'd have gotten a scholarship/ grant and gone directly to college.
you prove my point, you guys (republican voters) are at best average both in terms of academic achievement, and wealth.
In my world, Joe the Plumber is "Black"

A "typical" cliche US Black is obsessed with ultra expensive European clothing brands. What he spends on clothing doesn't align with his real purchasing power, and that makes him look stupid and irresponsible

Joe the plumber is a 40k at best blue collar employee. His concern with over 250k/ year income doesn't align with his real fiscal position/ exposure. and that makes him look stupid and retarded.

If I was any good at what? I did go to college, to the University of Iowa, but I had to work too. I did not like being a plumber, but it's a job that pays well and my uncle was in the pipefitters and plumbers union so I was able to get a job.

At least we now have proof that the republicans don't have any exclusive charter on racists and hate mongers.

  8. I'm not a hate monger. The truth remains that the value system of US Blacks is totally fucked up. notice how I'm talking about a specific demographic (Us Blacks) and not a race in general (Blacks.)
I'm going to repeat ere what I said in other threads, US Blacks are Lazy, disgustingly so. black men engage in destructive behavior, black women are promiscuous and make terrible mothers (esp when they go have 3 kids from 3 fathers).
Obama, Cosby, Powell all spoke about how your average Black Man should man up and take more responsibility. Kudos to them. They're 100 % right.

I would not vote for Obama if he wasn't raised by grounded middle class whites (His Grandparents.) His mom, who was White, was a nutjob nonetheless.
I'm a conservative and adheres to middle class American values (yes, mostly White !) before the GOP perverted them into "Tax cuts", and "Deficits don't matter" and basically became an ethnic exclusive party.

Anyway, nothing should obscure from the fact, that Joe the plumber is a FRAUD

We have no disagreement over the fact that the republican party has lost it's way and does not deserve our support or votes, for the most part they will not be getting mine..but neither will Obama.

Joe the Plumber might be a fraud, I'll even stipulate to you that he is, fine. That does not change the fact that his treatment is a chilling signal of what is to come. This is a guy who simply asked a hard question to Obama, one to which Obama gave a bad reply. He has been torn apart for it. How many people are now going to be in a position to ask a powerful politician an important question, and they will hold back wondering "is the worst part of my past going to be dug up to destroy me" simply for asking a question? That's the entire point of this thread, it has little to do with Joe, he just happens to be the example.
