  2. Or Joe had an invention known as "a car."

I find that very difficult to believe, that "Joe" (not his real name) who just happens to be the son of a large Republican donor, and Brother-in-law to Charles Keating, just happened to live in the neighborhood that Obama stopped in in Toledo. Would you have a citation for that information?

I really don't feel like searching all over the internet like a mad man to satisfy you that this is not a conspiracy, it won't work anyway. You can read any of the original stories though and they go like this. "Obama was in Toledo when he told his people to stop, that he wanted to go house to house and meet the folks. As he was doing so, in a neighborhood he was not set to visit, he came across Sam (aka Joe) who asked a question that has set the work into a snit. Because he dared ask the King a question that the King gave a terrible reply too, the media and the Kings machine is now trying to destroy Sam." Something like that.

Even if he was a plant..so what? Does that change the answer that Obama gave? Hardly. Obama wants to call everything a distraction from the important issue, well if I do say so myself this obsession you guys have with the messenger (Joe), not the Kings answer is certainly a distraction from the issue at hand.

  4. Agree............... The way McCain incorporated the story into his stomp rallies makes you wonder if it wasnt all planned out ahead of time. Either way.... when CNN and MSNBC decide to carry this.... McCain will be toast ... ...well.... toastier than he is now.

  8. Well normally I don't buy into conspiracy theories, but when there's a guy named "Joe" whose name isn't Joe, who's a "plumber" who's not licenced to be a plumber in Toledo (or even apprentice, or is even a member of the plumbers' union), whose income is supposed to be $40,000 who asks a fake question about trying to buy a plumbing business that nets $250,000 (when it doesn't), who is worried about taxes but hasn't paid his taxes, who just happens to have a father who's a large Republican donor, it does seem slightly suspicious. Come to think of it, it seems like his story of this plant fell apart.

"Came across" -- sure. Just coincidentally lived in the neighborhood is what the post said, and I'd like to see some support for that.

So it reveals that Republicans will lie, plant and cheat. If the question had merit the Republicans would have dishonestly planted a real plumber, but unfortunately that question doesn't apply to actual plumbers, only Republican fantasy plumbers.

I am wondering if any of you people actually watched the video, or if you just parrot what Hannity, Rush, and Fox tells you.

Obama answered the question, and did so thoroughly. In the end, his message was if you don't want to vote for me I respect that.

If you guys could look at stuff objectively and quit being brainwashed and led around by the above mentioned pundits, life would be a lot better for all of us. Instead you just wallow in hate and greed and "me, me, me...mine, mine, mine". Go buy an island and live on it so we can all carry on with our lives.

  10. Therefore, "good American"=

    tax cheat
    scofflaw
    divorced
    racist

Well, at least we know what real Republicans aspire to.

Thanks for the input, I always felt that to be the case, but now you made it official.
Care to comment on what "real America" is and in a like vain, "real Virginia"
